Current Obsession - Collar Necklaces

Lately I fell in love with this cross between statement necklaces and collars! Do you love these beauties too?

Statement-Ketten mag ich schon lange und auch die einzelnen Kragen finde ich sehr toll - aber die Kreuzung dieser beiden Accessoires hats mir gerade besonders angetan! Wie findet Ihr's?

Current Obsession - (Moderate) Cat Eye Sunglasses

When in 2010 some celebrities (like Scarlett Johansson or Olivia Palermo) jumped on the cat eye bandwagon I was sure to skip this trend. It was way too much 50s for me. But now there are shades in a moderate style available and - I'm in love! What do you think?

Bereits im letzten Jahr sah man ja ja einige Stars und Sternchen (z.B. Scarlett Johansson oder Olivia Palermo) mit den auffälligen Brillengestellen. Da war ich ir noch ganz sicher, dass das nichts für mich ist - zu sehr 50er Jahre für meinen Geschmack. Jetzt habe ich aber auch ein paar gemäßigtere Modelle gefunden und was soll ich sagen - toll! Was denk Ihr - gefallen Sie Euch oder habt Ihr sogar ein Modell?

Current Obsession - Turquoise Jewelry

I used to have turquoise jewelry pieces years ago, but these were more of the folklore style with aged silver (and I wore them with denim shirts and cowboy boots *g*). I recently saw some great pieces with gold details and instantly fell for this beautiful stone again. I think they'll be perfect with an all-white summer outfit. I got to get one!

Ich hatte schon früher mal Türkis-Schmuck, allerdings eher in disem Indianer-Filklore-Stil mit Altsilber (und trug sie zu Boots und Jeans-Hemden *lange her*). Neulich habe ich ein paar wirklich schöne Stücke mit Gold-Details gesehen, die mir sehr gut gefallen. Ich stell sie mir ganz toll zu komplett weißen Sommeroutfits vor. Ich will auch!

Current Obsession - Raw Stone Rings

When I first saw a picture of the H&M Ring above I wanted to check it out in person. Next time I've been to the mall with an H&M store I scanned their jewelry section. I decided not to buy it that day (I'm still in non-shopping-mode!) because it was nice but all of these rings in that specific store were kind of awry worked. When I'll find one next monday that looks ok I'm going to get it (I have not seen it in their online store!). I don't mind buying inexpensive costume jewelry but it should not scream "cheap". Nevertheless I looked for alternatives - here are my finds:

Als ich zum ersten mal den oben abgebildeten H&M Ring im Web sah, wollte ich ihn mir live ansehen. Beim nächsten Einkaufsbummel habe ich dann auch gefunden - aber nicht mitgenommen. 1. bin ich noch bis Sonntag im Anti-Shopping und 2. waren alle modelle im Laden irgendwie schief und unprofesionell verarbeitet. Wenn es den Ring am Montag noch gibt und ich ein einigermaßen ordentlich-verarbeitetes exemplar finde kommt es mit. Ich habe nichts gegen preiswerten Modeschmuck - nur sollte er nicht "billig" wirken. Da mir die Idee der "unbearbeiteten" Steine gut gefallen hat, hier noch ein paar hübsche Alternativen:

Current Obsession - Kimono Jackets

If I have the choice between two or more options, I usually stick with the most comfortable one (no matter if it's about home design, clothing or spending my leisure time :)). When I first saw kimono jackets my thoughts were like "comfy and stylish - like pajamas by day". I think I could live in these jackets around summer!

Ich bin grundsätzlich eher bequem - wenn ich die Wahl habe such ich mir meist das lockerste aus. Als ich zum ersten Mal solche Kimono-Jacke gesehen habe, dachte ich "wie großartig - bequem und stylish". Ich glaube die werden zum Sommer-Standard-Outfit gehören!

Current Obsession - Daytime Clutches

I love huge bags (see here) but lately I'm kind of obsessed with (very) small pouches/bags. Not only with party outfits but as a daytime bag. They'd be a great addition to a classic spring outfit (breton shirt, slim pants, cardi, ballet flats). Not sure if I prefer a clean black, a versatile grey or a colorful one.

Auch wenn ich eigentlich große Taschen (siehe z.B. hier) bevorzuge, finde ich in letzter Zeit mehr und mehr Gefallen an (sehr) kleinen Exemplaren. Und zwar nicht nur als "Ausgeh"-Täschchen sondern gerade für tagsüber. Ich Stelle sie mir ganz toll z.B. zu einem klassischen Frühjahrs-Outfit (Streifen-Shirt, schmale Hose, Cardigan, Ballerinas) vor. Ich weiß nur noch nicht, welche Farbe mir mehr zusagt: schwarz, grau, oder eine Knallfarbe.
