Awesome Stuff - Knock On Wood

It's always the same - I'm in no-shopping mode and instantly stumble across the coolest and loveliest things :) So it's time for another awesome stuff post! This time it's all about wood where you don't expect it (aka I want it all). Hope you like it!

Jedemal das Gleiche - ich bin auf Shopping-Diät (schon seit Mitte Juli und will auch noch ein wenig durchhalten) und dann finde ich die tollsten Sachen. Deshalb gibt es jetzt mal wieder einen kleinen "Awesome Stuff" Post. Thema diesmal ist Holz - und zwar da wo man es erstmal nicht erwartet (man könnte auch sagen - ich will das alles und sofort!). ich hoffe, Euch gefält meine kleine Zusammenstellung!

Cool Find - Emsemble: The Style of Music

Actually, this is not that new (it's from last October) but I just found it and wanted to share. EveryGuyed (hey guys - thats a great resource for your style!) presents ‘Ensemble: The Style of Music’ a series of posters featuring Iconic Outfits from 20 Male Musicians. Designed by Glenn Michael of Moxy Creative House, and illustrated by James Alexander.
I'm a music snob and love how they connected music and fashion as they selected icons that are also famous for a certain wardrobe.

Ganz so neu ist das zwar nicht (Oktober 2010), aber ich bin gerade erst darüber gestolpert und finde es sehr sehenswert. EveryGuyed (übrigens eine tolle Männer-Style-Site!) präsentiert ‘Ensemble: The Style of Music’ eine Poster-Reihe über 20 wegweisende Outfits von männlichen Musikern. Designed von Glenn Michael (Moxy Creative House) und illustriert von James Alexander.

Ich als Musiksnob finde die Wahl der Musiker sehr gelungen - alle stehen in der Tat für einen jeweils ganz bestimmten Stil.

Cool Find - Vizualtech Design E-Type

I'm not into cars (don't tell my hubby :)) as long as they take me from one place to another it's okay. But if money was no object, I'd buy my one and only dream car - a Jaguar e-type.

Ich bin definitiv kein Auto-Freak , es muss mich nur von einem Ort zum anderen bringen, das ist eigentlich genug. Aber ein Traum-Auto habe ich schon: Einen Jaguar E-Type.

Jetzt zum 50. Geburtstag hat das schwedische Designteam (bin ich die Einzige, die hier an HIMYM denken muss?) Vizualtech hat den Klassiker neu aufgelegt - ich find's nicht schlecht!

Cool Find - Harry Potter Nail Polish Series

OMG - fan art at its best! Sofia of Draco & Hermione created this nail polish series (no, not real polishes, you can't buy them) in honor of  her favorite book/movie series. She even added a list of possible dupes (see below). Great job, girl! How long does it take, until a cosmetics company jumps on Sofias bandwagon?

Tolle Idee und klasse umgesetzt! Sofia von Draco & Hermione hat eine Nagellack-Kollektion (nein, die Lacke gibt es nicht wirklich) im Stil ihrer liebsten Buch/Film-Reihe kreiert. Und damit nicht genug, sie hat sogar zu einigen Dupes gefunden und ebenfalls genannt (siehe unten). Wirklich toll gemacht! Bleibt nur die Frage, wann eine Kosmetikfirma die Idee ebenfalls aufgreift (und hoffentlich Sofia beteiligt).
