Google Plus

I finally decided to join Google+ with my little blog - so if you like you can "plus" posts or add  a can do it to your circles. I'd love to keep in touch with you this way too!
But I also have to admid that my decision was fueled by the upcoming limitations (and maybe abandoning) of Google Friend Connect - althogh, there are other possiblities like Bloglovin' etc. Did you take any actions with your blogs too? Tell me!

Ich habe ich nun auch dazu entschlossen mit meinem kleinen Blog auf Google+ präsent zu sein. Wenn Ihr wollt könnt Ihr ab jetzt Posts "plussen" und/oder a can do it zu Euren Kreisen hinzufügen. Ich freue mich, auf auf Google+ mit Euch interaktiv verbunden zu sein.
Allerdings möchte ich noch hinzufügn, dass die Entscheidung für Google+ auch wegen der bevorstehenden Einschränkungen (und der eventuellen Abschaltung) von Google Friend Connect - allerdings gibt es ja uch andere Möglichkeiten wie z.B. Bloglovin'. Habt Ihr Euch/Eure Blog auch darauf vorbereitet? Erzählt mal!

I joined Twitter (and Instagram) a few months ago and like it, but I can stand a week or more without it :)  I'm not on Facebook and are not likely to join it in the future. Although I'm a member of some fashion/beauty communities, I prefer to read only.

Ich bin bei Twitter (und Instagram) sowie beruflich auf XING vertreten. Einen Facebook-Account habe ich nicht und auch kein Interesse daran. Ich bin zwar in diversen Foren (fast alle aus dem Mode/Beauty-Bereich) angemeldet, aber lese eigentlich nur hin und wieder mit. In Foren poste ich sehr selten.

I rarely listen to radio, because I do not like the stations over here. In Austria I love to listen to FM4.
Sehr selten - eigentlich nur im Auto, denn ich mag die Sender hier (nur Mainstream/Charts) gar nicht. Wenn ich mal in A bin, dann höre ich sehr gerne FM4.

Sorry Guys...

... but I got a wasp sting last friday while on the way to our parents. And because I'm allergic to wasp poison my whole right arm was swollen down to the fingers and I had to take strong meds plus I was unable to do anything all alone - not even blogging. Today its much better :) But as we are on the way to my moms where I don't have internet access I can promise the next posts not before sunday evening or monday. Sorry!

.. ich hatte am Freitag auf dem Weg zu unseren Eltern/Schwiegereltern eine schmerzhafte Begegnung mit einer Wespe. Und da ich außerdem allergeisch auf das Gift dieser Tierchen reagiere, ist mir nicht nur der komplette rechte Arm zugeschwollen sondern mein Kreislauf war auch betroffen und ich musste nette Medikamente nehmen. Außerdem konnte ich fast nichts mehr alleine tun (mit der linken Hand bin ich noch schusseliger...) - leider auch nicht bloggen, kommentieren usw. Heute ist es endlich so gut wie weg! Jetzt sind wir allerdings auf dem Weg zu meiner Mama und da habe ich kein Internet, also kann ich Posts erst wieder für Sonntag abend oder Montag versprechen, wenn wir wieder zuhause sind. Tut mir leid, das war so nicht geplant... Allerdings habe ich ein paar sehr nette Fotos (machen lassen!) im Gepäck! Bis bald :)

Tech Issues - Google Friend Connect

It looks like the Google Friend Connect Widget does not not work on some blogs (including mine) at the moment -sorry! So if you want to follow me via google, please use the function in the navbar on top left. I hope they are working on it and the widget will work properly soon!

Irgendetwas mit dem Google Friend Connect Widget stimmt gerade auf einigen Blogs (darunter diesem hier) nicht - sorry! Falls Ihr mir via GFC folgen wollt, benutzt bitte mometan die Funktion "regelmäßig lesen" in der Navbar ganz oben links. Ich hoffe das Problem wirdbald behoben und das Widget funktioniert dann wieder!

Blog News

I hope you have already noticed that I made some small changes to the blog :) First - the new header! Still sleek and simple, nothing too fancy (but I'm still working on the resolution). Pretty much the same for the small design improvements (typo, background color, etc.). I added a formspring box to the left - so feel free to ask me anything! And I also added links to my other "homes" on the web like polyvore, weheartit and pinterest. And here are some news regarding the content - I wrote my first outfit post and there are more to come. And I decided to write some more on music (starting in june). Hope you like it!

Ich hoffe, Euch sind schon ein paar kleine Veränderungen aufgefallen :) Zuerst einmal der neue Header. Immer noch einafch und clean, aber dass mag ich auch so (allerdingsuss ich noch ein wenig die Auflösung optimieren). Einfach gilt auch für die Design-Änderungen (Typo, Hintergrund etc.). Eine Formspring-Box gibts jetzt auch - ich bin bereit ausgefragt zu werden. Außerdem habe ich meine Seiten bei polyvore, weheartit und pinterest verlinkt. Aber auch in Sachen Inhalte geht es in eine etwas neue Richtung - gestern ging mein erster Outfit-Post online und demnächst (ab Juni) gibt es auch mehr zu Musik. Ich hoffe, es gefällt Euch!

Back in Action

Sorry, I neglected my blog a little in the past few days. But to my excuse - the weather over here was just perfect and so I spent a sweet easter weekend with my little family. Nevertheless I made plans how to improve the blog (categories, sale, questions etc.) and developed some ideas on upcoming posts :)

Entschuldigt, ich habe meinen Blog ein wenig vernachlässig in den letzten Tagen. Zu meiner Verteidigung - das Wetter war einfach perfekt und so habe ich ein tolles Osterwochenende mit meiner kleinen Familie verbracht. Allerdings habe ich mir auch ein wenig Neues für den Blog überlegt (Kategorien, einen Sale-Bereich, und und und) und schon viele Ideen für neue Posts :)

Another daily-life-blog? Well, my main goal is to keep track of the efforts of all those little diy-projects that I want to accomplish around our house while I'm on parental leave. Definitely there will be posts on fashion and beauty, music, books and movies, cooking and baking and sometimes I'm gonna share my 2 cents on life in general. Have fun!

Noch ein Alltags-Blog? Hauptsächlich möchte ich Überblick über die Fortschritte meiner kleinen do-it-yourself-Projekte behalten, die ich in unserem Haus geplant habe während meiner Elternzeit. Sicher gibt es auch den einen oder anderen Post über Mode und Kosmetik, Musik, Bücher und Filme, aber auch Kochen und Backen und hin und wieder über das Leben an sich. Viel Spaß beim Lesen!
