Funny guys (movie/TV actors) | Über wen ich richtig lachen kann (aus Film & Fernsehen)

I have a special sense of humor - black, sarcarstic but sometimes I just giggle. At the movies I usually laught at other situations like the rest of the audience :) When I think of these men I could bot refrain from laughing. Who makes you scream with laughter?

Ich habe einen schwarzen Humor (hierzulande komme ich mir damit öfter wie ein Alien vor :), im Kino z.B. muss ich immer anderen Stellen lachen als das restliche Publikum. Manchmal kichere ich aber auch einfach nur blöd herum. Diese Schauspieler machen mir aber eigentlich immer gute Laune. Wer bringt Euch dazu Tränen zu lachen?

   Okay - no black humor here :) But he's the idol of my childhood - I can remember rainy days watching his movies with my mom (who loved hin as well). And laughing until we cried from his grimaces.
   Er steht nun wirklich nicht für schwarzen Humor, aber ich liebe seine Filme (Favoriten: "Brust oder Keule" und "Fantomas"-Reihe) seit meiner Kindheit. Ich kann mich erinnern mit meiner Mutter seine Filme gesehen zuhaben und bei jeder Grimasse in brüllendes Lachen verfallen zu sein.

   I adore him - from Monty Python, Fawlty Towers, A Fish Called Wanda to "R" in James Bond. I hope to get to see him live some day.
   Ich bewundere sein komplettes Lebenswerk - Monty Python, Fawlty Towers, Ein Fisch namens Wanda und jetzt "R" in den James Bond Filmen. Ich hoffe, ihn einmal live sehen zu können.

   He's not just funny (Jeves & Wooster with "Dr. House" Hugh Laurie is my fave) he's brilliant in many ways. I recommend his books: Intelligent entertainment at its best!
   Er kann auch anders als lustig (aber Jeeves & Wooster mit "Dr. House" Hugh Laurie ist großartig). Er ist ein toller Schauspieler, englische "Stimme" der Harry Potter Hörspiele und wunderbarer Autor - seine Bücher kann ich nur empfehlen!

   He's an austrian actor and comedian (I HATE this word). I've been to several of his live performances and can't wait to hear the announcement of a new Simon-Brenner-movie.
   Ich war schon auf einigen seiner Live-Auftritte als Comedian (oh Gott, wie ich diese Bezeichnung hasse!) und hoffe, dass endlich ein neuer Simon-Brenner-Film gedreht wird (Hader+Haas = <3).

Coachella 2011 - Celebrity Festival Outfits

Coachella kicked off the 2011 festival season. This year my faves are rather simple and easy outfits, not the trying-to-hard-hippie. Here's my selection:

Cool Find - Emsemble: The Style of Music

Actually, this is not that new (it's from last October) but I just found it and wanted to share. EveryGuyed (hey guys - thats a great resource for your style!) presents ‘Ensemble: The Style of Music’ a series of posters featuring Iconic Outfits from 20 Male Musicians. Designed by Glenn Michael of Moxy Creative House, and illustrated by James Alexander.
I'm a music snob and love how they connected music and fashion as they selected icons that are also famous for a certain wardrobe.

Ganz so neu ist das zwar nicht (Oktober 2010), aber ich bin gerade erst darüber gestolpert und finde es sehr sehenswert. EveryGuyed (übrigens eine tolle Männer-Style-Site!) präsentiert ‘Ensemble: The Style of Music’ eine Poster-Reihe über 20 wegweisende Outfits von männlichen Musikern. Designed von Glenn Michael (Moxy Creative House) und illustriert von James Alexander.

Ich als Musiksnob finde die Wahl der Musiker sehr gelungen - alle stehen in der Tat für einen jeweils ganz bestimmten Stil.

Goodbye, Goddess

The world has lost one of its last divas, a great artist (two acedemy awards) and incredible beautiful woman. I'll always remember her perfect violet eyes. R.I.P. Elizabeth Taylor.

Die Welt hat eine ihrer letzten Diven verloren, eine große Künstlerin (2 Oscars) und einfach unbeschreiblich schöne Frau. Ihre violetten Augen kann man nicht vergessen. Adieu, Elizabeth Taylor.

1. Severus Snape (from the "Harry Potter" movie series), played by Alan Rickman. That Hair, that nose, that voice - Alan Rickman is simply perfect!
2. Roger „Verbal“ Kint / Keyser Söze (from "The Usual Suspects"), played by Kevin Spacey. Artist and gangsterboss all-in-one.
3. Auric Goldfinger (Goldfinger from the "James Bond" movie series), played by Gert Fröbe. He covered his victims in gold - death never looked better.
4. The Joker (from The Dark Knight), played by Heath Ledger. The new generation's villain - evil without a cause.
5. Hannibal Lecter (from "The Silence of the Lambs"), played by Anthony Hopkins. Intelligence is sexy - intelligence plus viciousness is even better!
